Privacy Policy

FixTicket.app · Last updated September 11, 2026

FixTicket.app ("FixTicket," "we," "us") is built around a simple privacy principle: your ticket details never leave your device.

1. What the generator does with your information

The appeal-letter generator runs entirely in your web browser (client-side JavaScript). The information you type — name, address, citation number, court details, narrative — is processed in your browser's memory to render your letter. It is not transmitted to, stored on, or accessible to our servers. Closing the tab discards it. Downloaded letters save directly to your own device.

2. What we store in your browser

We store a single flag in your browser's local storage indicating that you have purchased access, so returning customers are not paywalled again. This flag contains no personal information. You can clear it at any time via your browser settings.

3. Payment information (Stripe)

Payments are processed entirely by Stripe, Inc. on Stripe's hosted checkout pages. We never see, collect, or store your card number, bank details, or billing information. Stripe's handling of your payment data is governed by Stripe's own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). We receive from Stripe only confirmation that a payment occurred and basic transaction metadata (e.g., amount, time, and any email you give Stripe at checkout).

4. Website analytics and hosting logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical data when you visit (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps). We use this only for security and performance. If we add analytics tools in the future, we will update this policy before doing so.

5. What we never do

  • We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their marketing.
  • We do not collect your citation data (see Section 1).
  • We do not use advertising trackers or third-party behavioral cookies.

6. Your rights (state privacy laws)

Depending on your state (including Florida's FDBR, California's CCPA/CPRA, Virginia, Colorado, and others), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. Because we collect essentially no personal information beyond what Stripe processes, most requests can be satisfied simply: there is little or nothing for us to retrieve or delete. To exercise any right, email privacy@fixticket.app and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from minors (consistent with COPPA).

8. Security

Our primary security control is architectural: we do not receive your sensitive citation data at all. The site is served over HTTPS (enforced by the .app TLD's HSTS preload), and payments are handled by PCI-DSS-compliant Stripe infrastructure.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; the date above reflects the current version. Questions: privacy@fixticket.app.
