Terms of Service
Welcome to FixTicket.app ("FixTicket," "we," "us," "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase of and access to the FixTicket document-preparation software (the "Service"). By purchasing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. What FixTicket is — and what it is not
FixTicket is a self-help document-preparation software tool. It formats the information and choices you provide into a written statement you may choose to submit to a court.
FixTicket is not a law firm. We are not attorneys. We do not and cannot provide legal advice, legal opinions, or legal representation. Nothing on this website or in any generated document constitutes legal advice, and no attorney-client relationship is created by your use of the Service or by any communication with us.
We do not select documents or defenses for you. The software presents general information and options; you decide which information to enter, which options (if any) to select, and whether to file anything with any court. This is consistent with the long-standing rule — recognized in Florida and most states — that selling forms and typing a customer's own directed information into them is not the practice of law. If you need advice about your specific situation, consult an attorney licensed in your state before filing.
2. No guarantee of outcome
Court outcomes depend on facts, evidence, procedures, and the discretion of courts and officers — none of which we control. We do not warrant or guarantee that any ticket will be dismissed, reduced, or otherwise resolved in your favor. Statements on this site describing contest rates, fines, or insurance effects are general industry estimates, not promises about your case.
3. Your responsibilities
- You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter and for reviewing the generated document before using it.
- You are solely responsible for meeting all court deadlines, filing procedures, fees, and requirements. Courts vary widely; always confirm procedures with the clerk of the court named on your citation.
- You must be at least 18 years old to purchase or use the Service.
- You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, to submit false statements to a court, or to misrepresent facts. Knowingly false statements to a court may carry penalties — the Service must only be used with truthful information.
4. Purchase, license, and delivery
Your one-time payment grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the generator for your own personal traffic matters. Access is delivered digitally immediately after payment via Stripe's checkout redirect. Generated documents are for your personal use only and may not be resold or redistributed as a service to others.
5. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.
6. Intellectual property
The website, software, text, and design are owned by FixTicket and protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, scrape, reverse engineer, or resell the Service or its content.
7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FIXTICKET AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES — INCLUDING FINES, COURT COSTS, POINTS, LICENSE SUSPENSION, INSURANCE INCREASES, OR LOST WAGES — ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE (US$14.99).
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations, so portions of the above may not apply to you.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FixTicket from any claims, losses, fines, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or false information you submit to any court.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis in Florida, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. You waive any right to participate in a class action or class-wide arbitration.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the current version. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
